After months of working and battling against the Fire, the Wind, and the Water, I am happy and proud to present DOMENICO RISTORANTE!

Since I was little, my mother as always taught me to appreciate good and simple cuisine using the best ingredients that Earth gives us. A cuisine prepared with heart and love and a little touch of originality. Descended from the South of Italy close to Naples, I always remember the great times that I had with my family and friends around the table. All this is what your going to find in my restaurant and for that I chose a great promising Chef Michael Young. I hope you will enjoy his amazing cuisine, an American Chef of Italian descent. He speaks Italian fluently and has traveled and worked extensively throughout Italy, including the 2-Star Michelin “Ristorante Ambasciata”. He lived in, and frequently revisits, Parma, the gastronomical Capital of Italy. Michael has worked with Piero Selvaggio and Angelo Auriana (Valentino Restaurant), Salvatore Marino (Il Grano) and close friend Daniel Rossi (ex-Citrus Michael, thank you, for taking the challenge of this new venture with me.

For me the ambiance of a place is as important as the food. In my desire to bring to Los Angeles and Silver Lake a new and fresh Italian restaurant where the guest will feel comfortable and have a good time in an exceptional place, I brought in an Italian Designer Vanni Vezzosi and Ahmad Boyer based in Los Angeles in the modern furniture district. They brought the element of the classic modern Italian Design to us using wonderful textiles and innovative materials. Their furniture boutique “Soluzioni” has helped create atmospheres for Award Winning Television Show as Six Feet Under and Desperate Housewives and a long list of Celebrity clients.

Thank you to all my great staff for joining me in this new great project. A big thanks to all my friends that have supported me and helped me through this special time, to my parents and my sister and a special hug to my friend Rick.
